**** The 1960 Chevrolet Impala 348 CI Tri Power ****

In 1960 the styling cues of the Impala were toned down by separating the Batmobile-like fins and replacing the cat’s eyes tail lamps with an array of cone-shaped tail lamps banked in a ribbed aluminum cove.

For those want more than the standard 283CI engine Chevrolet offered 5 variations of the mighty 348CI packing up to 320HP.

The example offered here has a very recent frame-off restoration. It is equipped with the above mentioned 348CI tri power engine with 3 two barrel carburetors and has the highly desirable 4spd manual transmission. This is an excellent presentation of a true American classic and is ready for any show or driving experience.
